Cookies

We use the term 'cookies' to mean both HTTP cookies and HTML5 local storage.

What are cookies?

An HTTP cookie (also called web cookie, Internet cookie, browser cookie or simply cookie) is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in the user's web browser while the user is browsing.

What is local storage?

HTML5 local storage is a modern form of the HTTP cookie. In comparison to cookies, local storage is more secure, and allows larger amounts of data to be stored locally without affecting website performance.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies enable services you have specifically asked for. These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around our site and use its features, such as accessing secure areas. Without these cookies, certain services you have asked for, like shopping baskets or electronic billing cannot be provided.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use our site, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from our web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how the website works. By using our website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device.

Functionality cookies

These cookies allow our site to remember the choices you make (such as your username, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, fonts and other parts of web pages that you can customize. They may also be used to provide services you have asked for such as watching a video or commenting on a post. The information these cookies collect may be anonymised and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites. By using our website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device.

Usage analytics

OfficeServe uses Segment (segment.com) to collect and send anonymised information to Google Analytics.

We use Google Analytics to anonymously track usage statistics to help us improve our website and mobile app experience. OfficeServe does not upload any data that would allow Segment or Google to personally identify an individual customer, or data that permanently identifies a particular device. We may combine anonymous logged in customer sessions with logged out sessions to help us better understand both types of usage.

Managing Cookies

Your continued use of our site constitutes your consent to accept these cookies and data collection, however you can set your internet browser to reject all cookies, or to notify you when a cookie is set.
